THE CACTUS COUCH! First cactus blog

Hi there fellow cactus enthusiasts 

i thought it was about time that I started a cactus blog here so i can jot down all the wonderful things that are going on at bush cactus and also have a place do discuss all things cactus related!

during our winter downtime we have been rather busy here tending to the plants and monitoring the next batches of seedlings coming up - there's a lot of interesting things in the works currently including some amazing genetics from Patrick Noll of trichocereus.net which is yielding some very interesting baby's

i did a big run of Ariocarpus last season too around 500 seeds from various sources like eBay and Koehres Kakteen of Germany we currently have around 400 baby Ariocarpus that have come up to look after . 

I also have put down a big run of Cactilicious's American Beauty master pack which also is very exciting for the nice hybrids its producing 

so yes there's lots of new things going on in the works here at Bush Cactus we look forward to being able to bring you amazing new hybrids as well as the stocks we already have! 

Finally I'd like to add that due to the downright absurdity of eBay and their silly restrictions on the selling of ornamental cactus i will be significantly limiting my presence on there in the future as selling cacti on their platform  becomes untenable from my perspective too many small minded  greedy individuals reporting honest sellers and just downright childish behaviour  that I would like to distance myself from as much as possible  as we strive to give a more semi -professional approach to the cactus hobby here and we have no time for such pointless dramas 

Building this website has been a labour of love and our passion for cacti is stronger than it has ever been we look forward to many many years of working together with YOU the wonderful people of this great cactus community
